In celebration of springtime in Portland, one museum hosts a special vintage sale featuring Japanese treasures. Attend the Cherry Blossom Bazaar in April.
Hosted by the Japanese American Museum of Oregon, the event promises a treasure trove of Japanese collectibles, objects, and furniture, offering something for every age, taste, and budget.
Here’s what you can expect:
2026 Cherry Blossom Bazaar
The Cherry Blossom Bazaar is April 11-12, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Povey Building. This event is more than just a rummage sale. Join a celebration of decorative and usable Japanese household items at this event.
The bazaar offers an eclectic array of Japanese items, including:
Collectibles
Clothing and kimonos
Dishware
Furniture
Artwork and scrolls
Dolls
Ikebana supplies
Books
Admission
On Saturday and Sunday, the event is free to attend. Also, show your receipt from the bazaar and get free admission the Japanese American Museum of Oregon, located just around the corner.
There’s also a special preview night benefit on Friday, April 10, from 5-7 p.m. Ticket prices range from $25-50.
All proceeds benefit the Japanese American Museum of Oregon.
