Are you ready for Portland’s best holiday art and craft market? Crafty Wonderland is the ultimate local handmade art and craft event of the season. 

If you haven’t attended this magical holiday craft fair in the past, let me give you a little background. It all started when two local artists decided to create a venue to sell their own handmade goods and help friends do the same. Since it began in 2006, Crafty Wonderland has become the largest handmade craft show in the Northwest. The craft fair has even expanded into two retail stores you can visit year-round.

Here’s all the information you need to most the most out of this year’s market.

Crafty Wonderland is taking over the Oregon Convention Center December 8-10, 2023. Close to 300 local artists are featuring fun, creative and one-of-a-kind goods. This event attracts popular local artists, creators and purveyors.

Schedule and Tickets

On Saturday and Sunday, Crafty Wonderland is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Timed ticket entry is required on these days. Tickets are $4 per person, including processing fees. Kids 5 and under can attend for free and do not need a ticket.

You will choose your entry time at checkout. Once inside Crafty Wonderland, you can stay and shop as long as you want. 

Tickets are available at the event for time slots that are not sold out.

Friday Night First Pick Pre-Show Party

If you want to make your experience extra special and get a head start on your shopping, attend the Friday Night First Pick Pre-Show Party. On Friday, December 8 from 5 to 9 p.m., Crafty Wonderland lets a limited number of people in to get first dibs on all the gifts and goods at the holiday market.

Tickets for the pre-show party are $25 per person, including processing fees. You will also receive one free drink of choice at the cash bar ($15 value). You can show up anytime between 5 and 9 p.m.

The market is taking place at Oregon Convention Center Exhibit Hall D, 777 NE Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd in Portland. For more information, visit the Crafty Wonderland website.
