Cruzroom is one of my all time favorite places in Portland. From the dive bar feel to the church pew seating to the tiny plastic dinosaurs nestled in their signature cocktails, I love everything about this eclectic watering hole. On top of all those eclectic Portland vibes are the delicious, not your average street tacos.
It is a great place to take your group of friends for cheap happy hour, or curl up with a loved one on the outdoor patio, complete with fire pits. The patio is dog friendly as well, which appeals to all the pet lovers in our city.
Right next to the patio, Cruzroom has a spacious venue that hosts lots of awesome events.
Cruzroom Annex has a full schedule of free and cheap events happening almost every night of the week. Events range from live music, bingo, trivia, comedy, yoga and more. The annex has a bar, a mix of comfy seating and tables as well as a full stage. You can also order all the same food and drinks at the bar.

Trivia Night
Every Tuesday, gather your group of friends for trivia hosted by Shanrock’s Triviology. Trivia takes place from 7-9 p.m. FREE
Jazz Night
On Wednesdays, come and sit in with the band or just enjoy some great local jazz starting at 8:30 p.m. FREE
Cruz Control Comedy
Every Thursday, Rob Robbie & Rachelle Cochran host comedy night starting at 7:30 p.m. FREE
Open Mic Night
Every second and fourth Saturday, enjoy the talents of your fellow Portlanders or show off your skills during the open mic night. Sign ups start at 6:30 p.m. The show starts at 7 p.m. FREE
Yoga & Tacos
Every Saturday from 12-1 p.m., swing by for yoga guided by Erin Nova. Stay after for lunchtime tacos. Yoga is donation based and the tacos are $3.75 each.
