Goodbye, Fright Town. Hello, The Beneath at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Who knew it would pay off to plan a frightening night out of the town? Check out this discount haunted house and the steps below carefully so you don’t miss out.

The Beneath haunted attraction includes three frightening themed haunted houses called Underhill Manor, the Clown Factory and Infected. The attraction is open from October 11-31.
General admission is $20 Tuesday-Thursday and Sunday. It bumps up to $25 on Friday and Saturday. The family saver pack includes 6 entries for $99 (a $51 savings).
Here’s how you can save on this spooky attraction. You can get $5 off your ticket purchase online with code “scareme.” The early bird $5 discount is available for advance ticket purchases for all days through October 9. After that, it is only valid for weekday shows, Sunday through Thursday.
Now, this may seem like a pretty cut-and-dry discount, but I found it took me through a few frightening twists and turns before applying the code. I don’t know about you, but getting all the way to the checkout screen and still not seeing a discount applied is a terrifying experience for me.
I’ve tried to make it as easy as possible for you so you don’t stumble through the dark like I did. Here’s the process, complete with an all-telling screenshot below.
First, choose the date you want to attend, then click “Get Tickets” at the bottom of the calendar.
Once you choose your day, you’ll be prompted to choose the number of tickets you want.
Here’s the important part: the discount code does not work in the Discount Code box to the right of the ticket information. Horrifying, right? Have no fear, I figured out a way around this madness. (As of 9/29, the Discount Code was still not working. This is subject to change.)
At the very bottom of the ticket options, you’ll see a small line of blue text that says “Have an access key?” Click this and a Access Key box will appear. Enter “scareme.” Voila! You’ll unlock a special ticket option called “Advance General Admission” that is $5 less than the regular general admission options.

Why is it set up this way? I’m not sure, but with a little extra sleuthing I was able to figure out how to apply this special discount. I hope this saves you time and, most importantly, money!

‘all days up to Oct. 9’ won’t work….something’s not right.
Thanks for asking! The discount code is available for all days through October 9, meaning the code expires after that date. After October 9, it is only available for week days. This is an early bird discount that incentivizes people to purchase tickets before the attraction opens on October 11. Hope this helps!
