The annual Cathedral Park Jazz Festival is Portland’s best free concert of the summer.
This three-day event features the region’s most talented Jazz and Blues musicians harmonizing with the incredible backdrop of the St. Johns Bridge at Cathedral Park.
This year, the festival will have a full line up of performances in mid-July.
2024 Cathedral Park Jazz Festival
The 44th Cathedral Park Jazz Festival is July 19-21, 2024. Hours are 4:30-10 p.m. on Friday, 1-9:45 p.m. on Saturday and 1-8 p.m. on Sunday.
The event brings together our community of music lovers. All ages are welcome.
Spread a blanket on the grass or pack along low-back chairs to sit under the stunning St. Johns Bridge and enjoy Jazz and Blues music. Bring a picnic and make a whole weekend out of enjoying these incredible performers.
Best of all, the Cathedral Park Jazz Festival is free to attend. Food vendors and a wine and beer garden will be available at the festival.

A fun fact about this event is it’s completely volunteer driven. Jazz Society of Oregon gathers donations and sponsorships throughout the year to offer this free event. If you would like to support, consider making a donation on the organization’s website.
The festival is located at Cathedral Park, N Edison Street and Pittsburg Avenue, in Portland. Street parking is available or you can take public transit to the park.
