Saddle up and join bicycle author and entrepreneur Todd Roll on an easy, three-hour FREE ride through neighborhoods and parkways Sunday morning, May 18, 9 a.m. to noon. Roll, proprietor of Pedal Bike Tours, with locations in downtown Portland and Honolulu’s Waikiki Beach, is offering bicyclists of all ages a ride along one of the routes he details in his new book, “Pedal Portland: 25 Easy Rides for Exploring the City by Bike.”
Meet in Tigard at Max’s Fanno Creek Brewpub, 12562 SW Main St. The ride, which begins at 9 a.m., will end at noon at the same location.
One of the main interests along this route is an abundance of wildlife-rich wetlands. The choice of this route was made in honor of May’s National Wetlands Month. The ride is co-hosted by The Wetlands Conservancy of Portland.
The route follows the Fanno Creek Greenway Trail.
The ride is FREE, but please sign up by calling 503-227-0778 or emailing rsvp@wetlandsconservancy.org.
