When is Free Fishing Weekend in Oregon?
In 2026, there are three free fishing weekends in Oregon open to residents and nonresidents. On these dates, you don’t need a license to fish, crab or clam anywhere in Oregon.
Here are the 2026 free fishing dates:
- February 14-15 (Saturday and Sunday), President’s Day Weekend
- June 6-7 (Saturday and Sunday)
- November 27-28 (Friday and Saturday), Thanksgiving Weekend
During these events, fishing rules still apply. These include location closures, bag limits and size restrictions. Before planning your trip, be sure to brush up on Oregon fishing regulations.
