Cool off this summer at one of our city’s outdoor pools for free during open play swim sessions.
All of Portland Parks and Recreation’s outdoor pools are offering free open play swim sessions this summer.
No registration is required to swim. Free admission is available on a first come, first served basis and subject to daily staffing.

Outdoor pools are open on Thursday, June 20. Here are the free open swim sessions:
Free Open Play Swim at Portland Pools
Pools offering free open play swim include Creston, Grant, Montavilla, Peninsula, Pier and Sellwood. All of these pools are outdoors.
Here are the days and hours for free open swim:
North
Peninsula Pool
700 N Rosa Parks Way
Tuesdays, 1–3:45 p.m.
Pier Pool
N Seneca St. and St. Johns Ave.
Thursdays, 1:30–3:30 p.m.
Northeast
Montavilla Pool
8219 NE Glisan St.
Tuesdays, 6:30-8 p.m.
Grant Pool
NE 33rd Ave. and US Grant Pl.
Wednesdays, 1-3 p.m.
Southeast
Creston Pool
SE 44th Ave. and Powell Blvd
Mondays, 6:30–8 p.m.
Sellwood Pool
7951 SE 7th Ave.
Wednesdays, 6:30–8 p.m.
Paid open swim sessions at outdoor pools are $4-$5 for youth, $6 for adults and $5 for seniors. Kids ages 0-2 get in for free. Daily hours vary by pool. For more information about each pool, visit Portland Parks and Recreation’s website.
