We need to stay connected for many reasons: education, work, personal health, and much more. In an effort to keep everyone connected, Comcast has opened up its wireless connection.
Xfinity WiFi hotspots are currently free for anyone to use. That’s right. Even if you are not an Xfinity Internet customer, you can get free access. This service is currently available nationwide.
You will now be able to access the internet with a laptop, tablet, or other device that lacks a cellular data plan.
You can search for your nearest Xfinity hotspots online. You’ll quickly see that there are hotspots all over our city. Chance are you’re sitting in one as you read this.
When you’re at a hotspot, just open the wi-fi settings on your device and select the “xfinitywifi” network name in the list of available connections. Once that is set, simply launch a browser or an app and you’ll be connected.
Right now, this freebie is available for 60 days.
