If you’re looking for a place to experience some spine-tingling Halloween magic, Vancouver’s Franklin Street should be at the top of your list. Known for its holiday displays, this neighborhood transforms into a hauntingly captivating spectacle during the month of October.
One residence in particular pulls out all the stops to make your Halloween season unforgettable.
Here’s when and how you can enjoy this annual event.
Halloween on Franklin
Halloween on Franklin is a nightly display that awakens the undead. Every evening in October from 6-9 p.m., the free Halloween display immerses you in a world where the skeletons roam and spooky creatures come to life.
Be greeted by towering skeletons, a menacing headless horseman, eerie spider webs, witches and an assortment of other creatures that haunt the night. These ghoulish figures are paired with special effects, lights and music, creating an atmosphere that’s both thrilling and mesmerizing.
Pumpkin Sale
Through October 10, there’s a pumpkin sale with all proceeds going to the Gabriel Antonio Fazio Scholarship Fund. The pumpkins are provided by the Fazio family, so you can enjoy a free display and buy your carving pumpkins all in one place.
Trick-or-Treat and Live Performances
The fun doesn’t stop there. Franklin Street hosted an epic trick-or-treat event from 5 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 31 Families from all over the area gather here for a fun evening of trick-or-treating.
What makes this display even more exciting are the surprise guest appearances on select nights. Expect to see familiar faces from some of your favorite Halloween movies, adding to the spooky charm of the event.
The Dancing Witches perform October 25 at 6:30. and 8:30 p.m.
