Looking for an alternative for your feast this holiday season? Portland restaurants and grocery stores are offering special holiday meals to go. 

This is a great way to have a delicious meal with all the fixings from the comfort of your home, while taking the stress out of preparing a feast yourself. Most of these are fully cooked meals, and only require you to heat and serve. Options include ham, turkey, prime rib and vegan meals.

This list is separated in to grocery stores and restaurants with locations in the Portland metro area. 

2023 Holiday Meals To Go

Grocery Stores

Fred Meyer

At Fred Meyer, you can get a ham, turkey or prime rib holiday meal serving 4-8 people. Prices range from $65-$90. Pick up options are now open through the holidays. If you don’t see a Holiday Meals offered at your preferred store, check your next closest location.

Items include:

New Seasons

New Seasons has an oven roasted turkey breast dinner serving 4 people for $109.99. They are also serving a vegan option serving 4 people for $84.99. Other options include rib roast and whole turkeys. You can also get a turkey dinner for one for $17.99. The order deadline is December 21. Meals are available from pick December 22-26.

Safeway

At Safeway, choose turkey, ham or prime rib dinner ranging from $79.99-$99.99. The holiday meals serve 4-10 people depending on the protein option you choose. The store also has a turkey dinner for two option for $29.99. Safeway is usually open for limited hours on Christmas so plan your pick up accordingly.

Ham and Prime Rib dinners:

• Ham or prime rib

Topaz Farm

Sauvie Island’s Topaz Farm is serving holiday meals to go for $120 serving 2 and $320 serving 6. Options include braised short ribs (gluten free) and a vegetarian braised mushrooms (priced at $110 for 2 and $310 for 6 servings). Place your order by Sunday, December 17. Pick up your dinner at the farm on Sunday, December 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Braised short ribs:

• Coffee and stour braised beer short ribs
• Coffee and brown butter braised mushrooms
• Potato dauphinoise
• Braised cabbage with apples and raisins
• Poached pear salad with candied walnuts, herbed goat cheese, peppery greens and sherry balsamic vinaigrette

Whole Foods Market

Whole Foods Market has lots of options, including roast turkey breast dinner serving 4 people for $89.99. Prime rib, ham, beef tenderloin, lamb shank and salmon are also available for various prices. All orders must be placed 48 hours ahead of pickup date and time. Pickup is available Tuesday, December 19 through Sunday, December 24.

Bergerac Bistro

Bergerac Bistro is serving 2, 4, and 6 serving Christmas dinner to go for $55 per person. Pickup is Saturday, December 23 from 2-4 p.m.

• Roasted squash soup with garlic herb croutons and sour cream
• Duck confit
• Creamy mushroom sauce
• Green beans and toasted almonds
• Potato gratin
• Cranberry sauce
• Chocolate orange pot au creme or gingerbread creme brûlée

The bistro is at 5520 SE Woodstock Blvd. in Portland.

Black Bear Diner 

Black Bear Diner is serving holiday ham and turkey family meals to go serving 3-4 people for $62.99. You can also order individual meals for $12.99.

Preorder by December 21 for Christmas Eve pickup and December 22 for Christmas day pickup starting at 11 a.m. You can also have the meal delivered for an extra charge. 

Items include: 

• Ham or Turkey 
• Mashed potatoes with gravy
• Cornbread stuffing
• Italian green beans

The Portland location is at 3737 SE 82nd Ave. There are also five other locations near Portland. Black Bear Diner is also open for dine-in on Christmas day. 

Botto’s BBQ

Get your prime rib, brisket, beef ribs, smoked turkey breast, pork spare ribs and sides from Botto’s BBQ. Pick up is Sunday, December 24, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Regular menu items will also be available. 

Botto’s BBQ is at 3120 SE Milwaukie Ave. in Portland.

Elephants Delicatessen

At Elephants Delicatessen, choose between a smoked ham for $175 or turkey dinner for $240. Both options serve 6 people. Individual meals are also available starting at $25. Christmas orders are available for pickup or delivery December 23-24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Orders must be placed by Monday, December 18. Pick up locations include NW 22nd, S. Corbett, Lake Oswego, Cedar Hills and the Central Kitchen in SE Portland.

Ham dinner:

• Applewood smoked ham
• Potatoes au gratin
• Roasted seasonal vegetables

Turkey dinner:

Fogo de Chao

Fogo de Chao has holiday to-go packages for 6 people start at $180. All orders require at least 24-hour notice. Orders must be picked up before 11 a.m. on Christmas Day. This holiday meal is available through January 1, 2023. 

Items include:

• Choice of two fire roasted meats
• Sweet potato casserole
• Brazilian sausage and apple dressing
• Steamed asparagus
• Cranberry relish
• Pao de queijo
• Cocoa fudge brownies

The restaurant is at 930 SW 6th Ave. in Portland. 

Golden Corral

Golden Corral in Vancouver has holiday meals to go serving 6-8 for $129.95. You can also get individual meals for $12.99. Orders must be placed at least 72 hours before the scheduled pick-up time.

Items include:

• Whole roasted turkey or glazed ham
• Mashed potatoes
• Gravy (choose brown or poultry)
• Stuffing
• Cranberry sauce
• One dozen yeast rolls with honey butter
• Choice of homestyle side
• A whole pie

The nearest location is at 11801 Ne Fourth Plain Blvd. in Vancouver.

Golden Valley Brewery

Golden Valley Brewery Beaverton location has a complete holiday dinners serving four starting at $139. Choose from ham or prime rib. Orders must be place by December 20 for pickup on Christmas Eve.

• Garlic herb mashed potatoes
• Sauteed green beans with caramelized onions and bacon
• Dinner rolls
• Chocolate torte with raspberry coulis

The brewery is at 1520 NW Bethany Blvd. in Beaverton. The brewery is also open for dine in on Christmas Eve.

Grand Central Bakery

Grand Central Bakery fulfills your pie, cookie, cake and bread needs for the holiday. Preorder from the online store between December 7-19 or in person December 8-21 for pick up December 22-24.

The bakery has eight locations throughout the Portland area. 

IHOP

IHOP holiday family feast serves 4 people for $42.99. Options include pancake, chicken, waffles, French toast and more. Family feast are only available for delivery and pick up.

Items include:

• Buttermilk pancakes
• Scrambled eggs
• Golden hash browns
• Hickory-smoked bacon
• Pork sausage links

IHOP has locations in Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro and Vancouver. 

Jake’s Famous Crawfish

Jake’s Famous Crawfish, along with the restaurants below, is offering family packages to go serving 4 people for $181.50.

Items include:

• Salmon, crab cake, grilled chicken or filet mignon
• Choice of salad
• Seasonal vegetables or roasted potatoes
• Silk pie or seasonal cheesecake

Jake’s Crawfish is at 401 SW 12th Ave. in Portland.

Jake’s Grill

Jake’s Grill is offering family packages to go serving 4 people for $181.50.

Items include:

• Salmon, crab cake, grilled chicken or filet mignon

The grill is at 611 SW Tenth Ave. in Portland. The restaurant is also open serving a special holiday brunch on December 24 and 25. 

Ringside Steakhouse

Ringside is serving a Christmas meal kit serving 6 people for $275. Pickup begins at noon on Saturday, December 23. 

Items include:

• Half prime rib roast with horseradish and house au jus
• Mashed potatoes
• Roasted Brussels sprouts
• Ringside table bread with butter and thyme
• Caramel apple pie by Willamette Valley Pie Co.

The steakhouse is at 2165 W. Burnside St. in Portland.

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse is offering side to go starting $28. Orders must be placed at least 48 hours before pickup. Meals are available for pickup from November 24 to December 23 from 4 to 6 p.m.

The steakhouse is at 850 SW Broadway St. in Portland. The Portland location is also open on Christmas Eve for dine-in. 

Shari’s

Shari’s has holiday family feasts to go starting at $99.99 for 4-6 people. Choose between turkey, ham and sides only. You can schedule your order for pick up whatever day and time works best for you, during open hours. Pre-order at least 24 hours in advance. Meals are available through January 1.

• Broccoli cheese casserole

Urban Pantry is serving holiday feasts for 2 people priced at $50. Choose from turkey or ham. Individual meals are also available for $30. There’s also a vegetarian option that includes everything but the meat for $40. Pre-order by December 20 for pickup at the Lovejoy location on Saturday, December 23, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Pan-roasted turkey breast sliced

• Mushroom gravy

Who Song and Larry’s

Get your holiday tamales to go from Who Song and Larry’s, available now through January 1. The price is $26 per dozen. Choose from chicken, carnitas and sweet corn. Orders must be placed 24 hours in advance. 

The restaurant is at 111 SE Columbia Way in Vancouver. Who Song and Larry’s is also open for Christmas brunch.
