Hooked on Fishing at West Marine

Head to West Marine’s Portland location for a special kid’s fishing event this weekend. 

West Marine specializes in boating accessories, parts, apparel and fishing supplies. Hooked on Fishing is an in-store event for kids to learn and improve on fishing basics.

Kids get to learn how to tie a hook to a line, casting, types of bait, fish identification and rules of fishing.

Here are the different stations:

• Good angler station
• Tackle and knot tying station
• Bait station
• Casting station

Kids who complete all stations will win a free fishing rod and reel combo. This is available while supplies last.

Hooked on Fishing is Saturday, June 18, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This event is free to attend.
