Take storytime into the forest at Tryon Creek State Natural Area.
Friends of Tryon Creek is hosting a fall and winter Nature Walk and Storytime series for families. Each event combines a nature-themed story with an activity and a short walk through the forest to learn about local plants and animals.
The series is designed especially for children ages 3–5, but kids and adults of all ages are welcome.
The next storytime is Seeds & Counting on Friday, Sept. 18, led by local author, illustrator and naturalist Audrey Sauble.
