Oaks Park Roller Rink Halloween Events

Trade your broomstick for roller skates this Halloween season. Oaks Park Roller Rink is hosting a spooky night of skating, gothic music and themed activities, all for $13 per person.

Portland’s historic roller rink has been welcoming skaters since 1906. This October, it’s embracing the darker side of the season with a special all-ages event featuring guest DJs, trivia, photo opportunities and skating games.

Here’s how to celebrate Halloween on wheels at Oaks Park.

Halloween Events at Oaks Park Roller Rink

Goth & Roll Skate Night

Friday, October 23, 2026, from 7–10:30 p.m.

Dig out your black clothes and lace up your skates for Goth & Roll, an all-ages Halloween-themed skate night at Oaks Park.

Guest DJs from Well & Good Club will provide the soundtrack, spinning post-punk, industrial, dark wave and goth rock throughout the evening.

Beyond skating, the event includes:

• Dead Serious Trivia Contest: Test your knowledge of goth culture and music.

• Gloom & Glamour Photo Booth: Capture your best cemetery-chic look.

• Dance Macabre: Participate in special Halloween-themed skating games.

Costumes and gothic attire are encouraged, although they’re not required.

Admission is $13 per skater. Standard skate rental is included when tickets are purchased online.

Halloween Night Roller Skating

Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 7–10:30 p.m.

Oaks Park Roller Rink is scheduled to offer its regular Saturday evening open skate session on Halloween night.

While the rink has hosted Halloween costume contests in previous years, a special Halloween night costume contest has not been announced for 2026.

The regular open skate session costs $13 per person. Check the Oaks Park skating calendar for schedule changes and any additional Halloween programming.

Both skating sessions take place at Oaks Park Roller Rink in Southeast Portland.

• Admission: $13 per skater

• Skate rental: Standard skates are included with online tickets; $1 extra when purchased onsite

• Parking: $4 per vehicle

• Location: Oaks Amusement Park

• Ages: All ages welcome

All skaters must complete a waiver before participating. Parents or guardians must complete waivers for minors.

If you’re planning to wear a costume, make sure it doesn’t interfere with safe skating. Oaks Park’s dress guidelines and hat-clip rules apply to themed events.

Parking is paid separately and is available through onsite meters or the park’s online payment system.
