NW Marine Art Works Open Studio
NW Marine Art Works Open Studio is May 31 and June 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. More than 75 local artists and artisans showcase a diverse mix of art forms: jewelry, apparel, painting, printmaking, ceramics, photography, sculpture, housewares and more.
In addition to viewing hundreds of pieces of art, watch artists in action, enjoy live demos and chat with makers.
And what’s an art party without music and refreshments? Enjoy live music, tasty food and drinks and the infectious buzz of creativity in the air as you explore studios and meet Portland’s artistic community.
Support Local Art with a Purpose: SMALL ART / BIG GIVE
As part of the event, NW Marine Art Works hosts the third annual SMALL ART / BIG GIVE fundraiser. More than 50 artists will donate original 6” x 6” artworks, all for a great cause.
100% of the proceeds from these small but mighty artworks are donated to North Pole Studio, a local nonprofit offering professional art programming and community support to adults and teens with autism and developmental disabilities.
The fundraiser kicks off right at 10 a.m., and with over 50 unique artworks available, they’re bound to go fast.
NW Marine Art Works is at 2516 NW 29th Ave. in Portland. The event is free to attend. For more information, visit the studio’s website.
