Located in the heart of downtown, Portland Art Museum is internationally renowned for exciting art experiences. On free admission days, our community gets open access to one of our city’s top attractions along with special activities.
Portland Art Museum Free Admission Day
On Sunday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Portland Art Museum is offering free admission.
You’ll get access to the entire museum, including current exhibitions see Monet’s Floating Worlds at Giverny, Throughlines: Connections in the Collection, and Psychedelic Rock Posters and Fashion of the 1960s, the exhibition that inspired the HeART of Portland collaborative art project.
Activities
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., participate in art making with Portland Public Schools teachers and students.
From 2 to 3 p.m., enjoy performances by elementary, middle, and high school student music ensembles representing David Douglas, Parkrose, Portland Public Schools, and Riverdale School Districts.
Free Tickets
Free admission tickets can be reserved online in advance. Tickets are also be available at the door for walk-in visitors.
Another way to get free admission to the museum is through Bank of America’s Museums on Us program. You can also get two free tickets from the Multnomah County Library Discovery Pass. Children 17 and under always receive free admission along with veterans and active-duty military.
