Located in the heart of downtown, Portland Art Museum is internationally renowned for exciting art experiences. On free admission days, our community gets open access to one of our city’s top attractions along with special activities.
Portland Art Museum Free Admission Day
On Sunday, January 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Portland Art Museum is offering free admission.
You’ll get access to the entire museum, including current exhibitions Psychedelic Rock Posters and Fashion of the 1960s and Throughlines: Connections in the Collection.
Activities
During this free day, you can also attend the free Portland Fine Print Fair hosted at the museum.
In its 12th year, this annual event gives Portlanders the opportunity to browse and buy at the largest and most comprehensive print fair on the West Coast.
Also, the museum hosts free printmaking demonstrations by local studio Atelier Meridian.
Free Tickets
Free admission tickets can be reserved online in advance. Tickets will also be available at the door for walk-in visitors.
Another way to get free admission to the museum is through Bank of America’s Museums on Us program. You can also get two free tickets from the Multnomah County Library Discovery Pass. Children 17 and under always receive free admission along with veterans and active-duty military.
