Located in the heart of downtown, Portland Art Museum is internationally renowned for exciting art experiences. On free admission days, our community gets open access to one of our city’s top attractions along with special activities.
Portland Art Museum Free Admission Day
On Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Portland Art Museum offers free admission. Along with access to the museum, you can enjoy a guided session, music, and hands-on art making.
Activities
There is a full schedule of activities every day of the event. Here’s what is in store:
11 a.m.-4 p.m. Drop in Artmaking- Bold Looks: Wearable Art Inspired by David Hockney 005, Finley Learning Studio
11 a.m.-4 p.m. Portrait Studio- Bold Looks with POWER UP 003, Andrée Stevens Conference Room
12-3 p.m. Look With Me + Art in ASL: 20-minute guided slow-looking session with a single artwork. Every 30 minutes; look for signs in the galleries.
12-4 p.m. DJ Sappho Rothko Pavilion, 3rd Floor Overlook
How to Get Free Tickets
Portland Art Museum is at 1219 SW Park Ave. in Portland. To reserve your free ticket and view the activity schedule, visit the museum’s website.
Another way to get free admission to the museum is through Bank of America’s Museums on Us program. You can also get two free tickets from the Multnomah County Library Discovery Pass. Children 17 and under receive free admission.
