Portland Art Museum Free Admission Day
On Saturday, September 17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Portland Art Museum is offering free admission as part of Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day.
The special program for the day is “Community Celebration: A Black Art Ecology of Portland and AUX/MUTE” from 12-4 p.m. in the outdoor courtyards. This community gathering showcases past year’s work of Sharita Towne and The Numberz FM. Join the artists and collaborators for an afternoon of music, ice cream and a free BAEP riso poster.
Free admission tickets can be reserved online starting Wednesday, September 14. Tickets also will be available for walk-in visitors on Saturday, September 17. Get your free tickets.
While you’re there, check out the Paseo, a free festival happening right outside the Portland Art Museum.
