Take Dad for a scenic ride aboard the vintage Willamette Shore Trolley in Lake Oswego. You’ll go back in time to when electrified trolleys transported citizens throughout the Portland area. The Willamette Shore Trolley passengers ride in a replica of Portland’s Council Crest cars. Tickets are $8 per person and the trolley runs on Saturday and Sunday.
Head to Portland Saturday Market
Explore local arts, crafts, food and performers at Portland Saturday Market. The market is back every Saturday in Downtown Portland. It features more than 250 booths filled with handcrafted goods and is free to attend.
Take in the Views at a Lavender Farm
Who says Dad doesn’t like flowers? Sit back, relax and take in the sights and smells at Lavender Farms near Portland. All of them have incredible views and you-pick lavender.
Take a Drive to Vista House
Take a day trip and visit the crown jewel of the Columbia River Gorge. The historic 1918 Vista House at the top of Crown Point offers visitors an incredible view of the Columbia River Gorge. It is open on Saturday and Sunday during Father’s Day weekend and is free to visit.
