The heart of the city is transforming into Munich’s favorite festival. Portland Oktoberfest offers Bavarian delights, full steins, costume contests and friendly competition to an adults-only crowd.
Portland Oktoberfest combines the magic of Bavarian traditions with our eclectic city. Beer, community and joy intertwine for a special two-day event in downtown Portland.

2024 Portland Oktoberfest
Portland Oktoberfest is September 20-21, 2024 at Pioneer Courthouse Square. Hours are 5:30-9 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on Saturday.
This is one of the few local Oktoberfests that is 21+ only. Choose from more than 16 Munich staples and German-style beers from Oregon along with wines and spirits.
Local food and maker vendors are onsite. The featured vendors offering special activities include Inkbus Tattoos, a mechanical bull and photo booth. Adding to the entertainment are costume contests and a stein holding competition. Attendees can sign up on stage.
As for music, there are a variety of performances on Friday and Saturday.

Tickets
General admission is $20 in advance ($25 at the door) and includes six drink tickets (five at the door). You can bring your own stein, buy a commemorative stein or get drinks in plastic cups at the event.
The tasting package is available for $30 in advance and includes 12 drink tickets. Day of tasting packages are $35 and include 10 drink tickets.
If you are the designated driver, you can attend for $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
