The heart of the city is transforming into Munich’s favorite festival. Portland Oktoberfest offers Bavarian delights, full steins, costume contests and friendly competition to an adults-only crowd.
Portland Oktoberfest combines the magic of Bavarian traditions with our eclectic city. Beer, community and joy intertwine for a special two-day event in downtown Portland.

2023 Portland Oktoberfest
Portland Oktoberfest is September 22-23 at Pioneer Courthouse Square. Hours are 2-9 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on Saturday.
This is one of the few local Oktoberfests that is 21+ only. Choose from more than 16 Munich staples and German-style beers from Oregon along with German wines and spirits.
Local food and maker vendors are onsite. The featured vendors offering special activities include Inkbus Tattoos and a mechanical bull. Adding to the entertainment are costume contests and a stein holding competition. Attendees can sign up on stage.
As for music, there are traditional polka bands on Friday, live music during the day on Saturday and an Oktoberfest-themed Video Dance Attack party on Saturday night.

Tickets
General admission is $18 in advance ($25 at the door) and includes two drink tickets. You can bring your own stein or get drinks in plastic cups at the event.
The stein package is only available in advance for $35 and includes a 20 oz. commemorative stoneware stein and two drink tickets.
If you are the designated driver, you can attend for $10.
Additional drink tickets available at the event for $4. One drink ticket equals a 6 oz. bier pour. Three tickets equal a 6 oz. wine pour. Two tickets equal a 1.5 oz. spirits pour.
