There is something nostalgic about spending a summer’s night gathered together with fellow fans to cheer on your home town team. This year, our favorite sports teams have had to temporarily pause their seasons and wait until the day they can once again hit the field and play ball.
For Portland Pickles fans, the wait is almost over. The Portland baseball team announced a Wild Wild West League bringing together the best of local baseball clubs.
The 2020 league will include the Portland Pickles, West Linn Knights, Portland Gherkins, and the Gresham GreyWolves. Weekend tournaments to include additional teams that are only a bus ride away from the Portland area.
Best of all, you can watch all of the games for free from the comfort of your home. All games will be broadcast for free on Portland Pickles’ Facebook Live and YouTube Live.
Due to health regulations, the Pickles feel the responsibility to deliver the greatest free broadcast experience for the citizens of Portland to rally behind. Fans will not be allowed on site until state and local agencies deem it safe.
The league will run from July 11 to August 8 with games almost every night.
