Celebrate independent publishers at the Portland Small Press and Art Book Fair.
Hosted at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in downtown Portland, the event highlights artists and small presses as well as free talks, panels, workshops and open studios.
Here’s what is in store for this event:
Portland Small Press and Art Book Fair
The Portland Small Press and Art Book Fair is March 5-7, 2026. Hours are 5-8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
The fair showcases risograph books, photo zines, small-edition art books and other forms of experimental printed matter. The curated fair centers Portland-based small presses, independent artists, and PNCA’s own student and faculty-led publishing projects.
Exhibitors
Visitors can explore work from more than 40 exhibitors, representing a wide spectrum of approaches to contemporary print and publishing. Participating presses, artists and collectives include:

Alongside these exhibitors, PNCA faculty, staff and students working in print and book arts will present their own publishing projects.
Free Public Programming and Special Events
In addition to browsing and collecting printed works, attendees can participate in a series of free public programs, including talks, panels, workshops, and open studios.
Thursday, March 5
- 5–8 p.m. First Thursday Art Walk and Fair Opening Reception at PNCA
- 5–8 p.m. MFA Print Media Open Studios
Friday, March 6
- 6 p.m. Dorothy Lemelson Keynote Lecture by Martha Naranjo Sandoval
Saturday, March 7
- 12 p.m. Workshop with Martha Naranjo Sandoval
- 3 p.m. Panel with Secret Room Press
- 4 p.m. Community Gathering and Closing Reception
