Powell’s Books Warehouse Sale invites you to restock your bookcase with inexpensive titles.

Powell’s Books has been serving Portland’s bibliophiles since 1971. Now with three locations throughout the metro area, you have more opportunities peruse your favorite titles and support an independent bookstore.

This July, stock up on all your summer reading during the special warehouse sale.

Powell’s Books Warehouse Sale returns with 70,000+ books across all genres available for super low prices.

Mark your calendars for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 12, and Sunday, July 13.

During the warehouse sale, you’ll get special prices, including:

$1 kids’ books
$2 most mass market
$3 trade paperbacks
$4 hardcovers
Plus, additional deals on Powell’s merch, gifts and potential bag-fill specials

Explore the diverse collection and lose yourself in the stacks of literary treasures. From fiction to nonfiction, poetry to graphic novels and romance to young adult, there’s something for everyone at Powell’s.

While you’re there, unwind while listening to music and snacking on delicious eats. Guilder Cafe, Straightaway Cocktails and Great Notion Brewing are serving up food and drinks. There’s also ice cream.

Free Timed Entry

After the popularity of last year’s event, free timed entry is strongly encouraged. Walk-ups will be allowed as space permits.

Timed entry reservations open Monday, June 16 at 10 a.m.

New this year is an exclusive presale on Friday, July 11, 6-9 p.m. Yet, you will have to win entry to the event.
