Love Rats? Attend the 2026 Ratapalooza

Are you a rat enthusiast or simply curious about these intelligent and affectionate little creatures? Attend Ratapalooza this February. 

Ratapalooza is a beloved Pacific Northwest celebration of these cute little creatures. The family-friendly event offers fun activities, adorable rats and a welcoming community of fellow rodent lovers.

2026 Ratapalooza

Ratapalooza is Saturday, February 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Wingspan Event and Conference Center in Hillsboro. 

Event Highlights

Rat Show: Watch as various breeds of rats compete for top honors in a judged show. Much like a cat or dog show, these little champions are evaluated and awarded ribbons. There’s a special category for people’s beloved pet rats with categories like kissiest and squishiest. 

Raffle Prizes: Try your luck at winning fantastic prizes, including plushies, cages, artwork and more. All proceeds support the club and future events.

Craft Table: Kids (and adults!) can make their own rat ear headbands, coloring pages and solve rat-themed word searches.

RATTO (Bingo!): Join in on a fun, rat-themed bingo game for a chance to win prizes and enjoy some friendly competition.

10 a.m. Doors open to public!

11 a.m. Kitten Class judging begins

12 p.m. Pet Show and Fun Classes

12:45 p.m. First Raffle

1 p.m. Adult Rat Judging begins

2 p.m. RATTO (bingo!)

3 p.m. Final Raffle

3:30 p.m. Announcement of show winners

4 p.m. Show wrap up/clean up

Admission

General admission is $15 per person. Kids 5 and under attend for free. 

The event is at Westside Commons, 801 NE 34th Ave. in Hillsboro. Parking is $10. For more information, visit the event website.
