Come celebrate 65 years of community and holiday spirit at Starkwood Holiday Lights.
Each year, Starkwood HOA brightens East Portland with one of the most cherished neighborhood light displays in the city. What started as a simple tradition has grown into a beloved seasonal experience.
Here are the details about the 2025 light display. If you’re looking for even more drive-through light displays, check out Peacock Lane and Holiday Sparkles at Powerland Heritage Park.
2025 Starkwood Holiday Lights
Starkwood Holiday Lights is open nightly from 5–11 p.m. December 13-31, 2025. Drive by the lights or enjoy a cozy nighttime stroll with family and friends.
The street, along with its three culs-de-sac, feature fun props and sparkling lights. To access the display, head to SE Stark St. and SE 111th Ave. in Portland.
If you’re walking the display, you can park along Stark Street or in any of the surrounding parking lots. Taking public transit? You can hop off at bus stop ID 6554 (Route 70).
Drivers are encouraged to dim headlights and keep right through the neighborhood all the way to exit onto Stark Street. Also, keep an eye out for families on foot enjoying the display.
Starkwood’s Annual Food Drive
From December 19-21, Starkwood HOA hosts a food drive benefitting the Sunshine Division. Bring a few nonperishable items to donate.
Absolutely VW Light Cruise
A glowing convoy of Volkswagens—decked out with twinkling lights, colorful decor and music—rolls through Starkwood from 5:30-7 p.m. on Sunday, December 21.
It’s equal parts car show, parade and holiday spectacle. Bring a lawn chair, invite friends, fill your mug with something warm, and enjoy the show.
