For an outdoor experience, movies in the park happen all over the Portland metro area. They are all held in the evening so you miss the heat of the day. Tis the season for farmers markets in Portland! In almost every neighborhood throughout the city, people gather weekly to buy veggies, meet with neighbors, listen to live music and get a bite to eat. Choose a market near you or discover one in a new area of town.
Escape to an Urban Park
You don’t have to drive far to enjoy nature in Portland. These five urban parks have lots of parking, family-friendly trails and beautiful sights. The Leach Botanical Garden even has its own scavenger hunt. All of these parks are free to visit.

The whole family can get in on this fun indoor activity: foosball. Every Friday and Saturday, the Million Dollar Foosball Club invites Portlanders to give it their best shot. This activity is donation based.
