Portland’s scariest Halloween tradition is back for its 13th season. This year, The Fear PDX promises to be more terrifying than ever.
The Fear PDX Haunted House starts Friday the 13th. Here’s what you can expect at this year’s event.
If you love haunted houses, you may also enjoy Cinema of Horrors Drive-In at Clark County Fairgrounds and Bella Organic Haunted Corn Maze.
The Fear PDX Haunted House
In 2024, The Fear PDX Haunted House is open September 13 through November 1.
This year, the haunted house offers four brand-new haunted houses guaranteed to send chills down your spine:
Toxic Carnage: Enter a toxic wasteland filled with grotesque creatures.
The Mansion: Unsettling secrets and restless spirits await.
Blood House 2: A sequel that’s bloodier and scarier than ever.
Scarecrow: Beware the shadows in the fields.
And that is not where the scares end. Your ticket also get you access to three scare zones:
- Metal Massacre
- Rotten Pulp
- Poison Apple Festival
For those craving even more thrills, additional activities are available.
Schedule
Here’s a breakdown of the 2024 schedule:
- The last three Fridays and Saturdays in September: 8:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Select days: 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM (Oct. 6, 9, 10, 13, 16, 17, 21, 23, 24, 28, 30)
- Early start dates: 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM (Oct. 20, 27)
- Extended hours: 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Oct. 11, 12, 18, 25)
- Longer nights: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Oct. 19, 26)
- Halloween and beyond: 7:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Oct. 4, 5, 31 and Nov. 1)
Tickets
Tickets are sold in half-hour time slots. There’s a limited number of tickets per slot, so booking online in advance is highly encouraged.
Ticket prices range from $24.99 to $34.99 depending on the date and time of your visit. If you go earlier in the season or during the week, it is cheaper.
