Portland’s scariest Halloween tradition is back for its 14th season. This year, The Fear PDX promises to be more terrifying than ever.
Here’s what you can expect at this year’s event.

The Fear PDX Haunted House
In 2025, The Fear PDX Haunted House is open September 27 through November 2. This event features 12 haunted attractions under one roof.
First, let’s explore the haunted houses, which guarantee to send chills down your spine:
Sector 13 Alien Terror: Step into a secret government research bunker where scientists experimented on alien lifeforms.
The Mansion: Unsettling secrets and restless spirits await.
Ancient Evil: In a rotting swamp, uncover blood thirsty insect swarms, vine-wrapped creatures and monsters of the night.
Laugh Factory: Among the ruins of an abandoned factory, twisted clowns work tirelessly to manufacture madness.
Scarecrow: Beware the shadows in the fields.
And that is not where the scares end. Your ticket also get you access to five scare zones:
- Midway of Fear
- Within the Woods
- Metal Massacre
- Poison Apple Festival
- Rotten Pulp
You also get access to nightmarish mini haunts: The Pumpkin Patch and Caged. For those craving even more thrills, additional activities are available.
Schedule
The haunted attraction is open on select nights with varying times. Here’s a breakdown of the 2025 schedule:
7-10:30 p.m. September 27, October 3, 4, 27, 29, 30
7-9:30 p.m. October 9, 12, 16, 20, 22, 23, November 1-2
7 p.m.-12 a.m. October 10, 11, 17, 24, 31
6-10:30 p.m. October 19, 26
6 p.m.-12 a.m. October 18 and 25
Tickets
Tickets are sold in half-hour time slots. There’s a limited number of tickets per slot, so booking online in advance is highly encouraged.
Ticket prices range from $28.99 to $39.99 depending on the date and time of your visit. If you go earlier in the season or during the week, it is cheaper.
