Celebrate our Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities at Tiger Tiger Fest.
This free family-friendly event welcomes the whole community to spend a day in the park enjoying live entertainment and great food.
Here are the details:
2023 Tiger Tiger Fest
Tiger Tiger Fest is Saturday, July 22, from 2 to 9:30 p.m. at Fernhill Park.
The event features live music and performances, interactive visual art, and food and drinks from Portland’s hottest AANHPI vendors.
Here is the schedule of performances:
- 3 p.m. Student performance
- 3:20 p.m. Kevin Aipopo, poetry
- 3:30 p.m. Subashini Ganesan, dance
- 3:45 p.m. Greg Kramer, music
- 5:30 p.m.Des Spicer-Orak, poetry
- 5:45 p.m. Alex Dang, slam poetry
- 6:00 p.m. Joe Kye & the Givers ft. Cloud Castle, music
- 6:50 Tara Sonali Miller, yoga
- 7:00 p.m. Alana Rich, music
- 8:00 p.m. DJ ANJALI, dance music
Seating is first come first serve on Fernhill Park’s grass lawn. Bring your blankets and lowback chairs.
Local food and drink vendors include HeyDay, Kim Jong Grillin’, Grindwittryz, Frybaby, Matta, Bhuna, Baon Kainan, Chochu Local and Yoonique Tea. Alcoholic beverages are permitted during the event.
The festival is offering one free meal to community members who need it. The deadline to complete an application is July 17.
The event is taking place at Fernhill Park is at 4121 NE Simpson St. in Portland. Free street parking is available. TriMet lines 71, 72 and 75 have stops near the park. A free shuttle is planned for the event, but the pickup locations and schedule have not been announced.
