Topaz Farm Plant Sale this Saturday

Getting ready for spring planting? Support local and get all you need to get ready for the growing season in your backyard. Topaz Farm is hosting a plant sale this weekend for a limited time.

Topaz Farm, formerly Kruger’s Farm, is hosting a plant sale at the farm on Sauvie Island. The farm’s greenhouses are overflowing with hanging baskets, tomatoes, strawberry plants, vegetable starts and more garden essentials.

On the farm you can also visit the farm animals and grab a beer. While you’re on Sauvie Island, swing by Columbia Farms and build a bouquet of peonies.

Topaz Farm Plant Sale

Here’s the plants available for purchase, while supplies last:

Grafted tomato plants for $9

These are Mighty ‘Matos grafted at Log House Plants, members of the safe seed program.

Strawberry plants for $8

These plants are already starting to fruit. They’re ready to pot or put in your garden.

Hanging flower baskets for $28

Each basket is filled with multiple flower varieties in a fiber pot made of molded cardboard. It helps reduce the need for frequent watering. The pots also protect from heat and cold.

Flower and vegetable starts for $2

An assortment of vegetable and flower starts will be available.

Topaz Tea for $10 (per quart)

This concoction is like probiotics for soil and plants. It boosts soil ecology and supports plant health.

The Topaz Farm Plant Sale is taking place on Saturday, May 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Topaz Farm is located at 17001 NW Sauvie Island Road in Portland. For more information, visit the Topaz Farm website.
