Celebrate the magic of the holidays at the Troutdale Windy Wonderland and Tree Lighting.

The holiday spirit is alive and well in historic downtown Troutdale. The two-day festive extravaganza is packed with holiday cheer and offers something for everyone. Best of all, it supports Snow Cap Community Services, spreading the warmth of giving this season.

2025 Troutdale Windy Wonderland and Tree Lighting

Troutdale Windy Wonderland is 12-7 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, and Sunday, December 7, 2025. Here are all the activities you can enjoy:

Holiday Market at The Troutdale House

The centerpiece of the celebration is the holiday market at The Troutdale House (411 E Historic Columbia River Hwy). Enjoy holiday music as you peruse a treasure trove of handcrafted gifts and seasonal treats and beverages.

Dozens of local vendors showcase unique items where you can find one-of-a-kind gifts for your loved ones.

Visit Santa at His North Pole Headquarters

Santa Claus is coming to town! Stop by Santa’s North Pole Headquarters near the holiday market for a magical photo op.

Santa is available for photos on Saturday from 2:30–7 p.m. and Sunday from 12-7 p.m.

Downtown Scavenger Hunt

Explore historic downtown Troutdale and participate in a fun scavenger hunt. Pick up a game card at the holiday market. Visit each of the places listed on your game card and find Harry, a small Sasquatch stuffed animal, hiding somewhere inside. Complete the card to earn a free gift. 

Tree Lighting Ceremony in Mayors Square

Wrap up the weekend with the city’s traditional tree lighting ceremony in Mayor’s Square City Park on Sunday, December 7 at 5 p.m. Arrive early to enjoy live holiday music and grab a free cup of hot cocoa before the festivities begin.

Watch as the majestic blue spruce comes to life with dazzling lights, a perfect way to close out the magical weekend.
