Taking an annual photo with Santa is a holiday tradition for many families. Cabela’s is keeping this tradition alive by offering free photos with Santa. 

The annual event is called Santa’s Wonderland, featuring free photos with Santa at Cabela’s, a chance to mail a letter to Santa and free giveaways. Below are all the details for the 2025 event.

2025 Cabela’s Free Photos with Santa

The free photos with Santa will take place from now through December 24, 2025.

Families that visit Santa receive a free 4×6 photo along with a free shareable video. Additional photo packages are available for purchase and print instantly at the store.

During your visit, kids can also receive free giveaways, while supplies last.

Reservations

Online reservations for Santa’s Wonderland are required and are now open. Simply select your nearest store, choose your preferred time and then show your confirmation at check-in.

You can reserve your spot for free on Cabela’s website. Reservations are available up to seven days in advance.

Location

The nearest Cabela’s location to Portland is at 7555 SW Nyberg St. in Tualatin.

If you live outside the Portland area, Bass Pro Shops also hosts Santa’s Wonderland. For more information, visit the event web page.
