2024 Elephant Garlic Festival

The Elephant Garlic Festival invites you to stop and smell the garlic in North Plains. If you’re a fan of hometown events filled with music, food and fun, you’ll want to attend at least one day of this annual festival. 

The three-day festival is held at the Jessie Mays Community Park in North Plains. The whole community comes together to participate in the annual event.

Activities include a parade, live music, beer/wine garden, book sale, car show, and food and craft vendors. Of course, there will be many delicious garlic eats and goods available for purchase.

2024 Elephant Garlic Festival Schedule

The 26th Annual Elephant Garlic Festival is August 9-11, 2024. Hours are 12 to 11 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. 

The event is free to attend and open to everyone.

Friday, August 9

12-8 p.m. Crafts vendors open.

12-6 p.m. Friends of the North Plains Library book sale inside Jessie Mays Community Center.

12-11 p.m. Festival grounds, food vendors and beer/wine garden open.

3:30-5 p.m. Blue Collide performs.

5:30-8 p.m. Americana Jukebox performs.

8:30-11 p.m. Girl Crush performs. 

Saturday, August 10

10 a.m. Parade down Main Street and Commercial St.

10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friends of the North Plains Library book sale inside Jessie Mays Community Center.

10 a.m.-8 p.m. Crafts vendors open.

10 a.m.-11 p.m. Festival grounds, food vendors and beer/wine garden open.

11 a.m.-5 p.m. OMSI at the Garlic Festival.

12-1 p.m. Joe & The Wheel Monkeys performs.

12-3:30 p.m. Car show.

1:15-2:45 p.m. Gayle Ritt & Mike Soto perform.

3:30-5:30 p.m. Ra Kahn performs.

6-8 p.m. Bootleg Ridge performs.

8:30-11 p.m. Macey Gard Band performs.

Sunday, August 11

10-11:30 a.m. NP Christian Band performs.

10 a.m.-4 p.m. Festival grounds, food vendors and beer/wine garden open.

10 a.m.- 3 p.m. Friends of the North Plains Library book sale inside Jessie Mays Community Center.

10 a.m.-4 p.m. Crafts vendors open.

11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Brenda Andrus performs.

12:45-1:45 p.m. Mitch and Jolie perform.

2-4 p.m. Norman Sylvester performs. 

4 p.m. The 2024 Garlic Festival has come to a close.

Parking

You may be able to snag a free parking spot in town. There will be a designated parking area at 29905 NW West Union Rd. Parking is $5. Two shuttles run every 10 minutes to and from the preferred parking area and the festival grounds.
