Witches and warlocks are invited to trade in their broomsticks for paddles during the 5th annual event.

2025 Estacada Lake Witches Paddle Boarding and Kayaking Event
This magical excursion is Saturday, October 4, at 12 p.m. and it promises a spellbinding experience for all who attend. Gather with your fellow witches and warlocks at 12 p.m. to begin an enchanting journey on the lake. Participation is free.
This event is open to both paddle boarders and kayakers.
As you glide across the scenic waters of Estacada Lake, join a community of fellow Halloween and water sport enthusiasts. On top of that, you are treated to the changing fall leaves reflecting on the water as you paddle around the lake.
Important Safety Reminders
Keep in mind, safety is a priority for all participants. Whether you’re a seasoned paddler or a first-time spellcaster on the water, it’s essential to stay smart and safe.
Make sure to carry all the required safety gear, including a life jacket, whistle and a waterway pass if your SUP or kayak is over 10 feet.
Follow all the local water safety laws to ensure a smooth and enjoyable time for everyone.

This year, the main access to this event is at Milo McIver State Park, 24401 S Entrance Rd. in Estacada
Day-use parking is $10. Milo McIver has an ADA accessible kayak ramp that makes it easy to access the water.
