Attend the 36th annual Portland Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at Tom McCall Waterfront Park in downtown Portland.
The fiesta is the largest multicultural festival in Oregon. The bilingual event hosts special attractions and featured performances during the three day festival.
Here are the details about the 2023 event.
2023 Portland Cinco de Mayo Fiesta
The Portland Cinco de Mayo Fiesta is May 5-7 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The event hosts a full schedule of live performances and music, activities, food, and fun for all ages.
There will be 22 performances over the three day event. Top entertainment includes internationally-acclaimed Mariachi Ciudad de Guadalajara and Oregon’s very own Ballet Folklórico México en La Piel.
More than 30 food, snack and dessert vendors will be serving authentic Mexican flavors and regional specialties.
At the Guadalajara Artisan Village, peruse authentic, unique handcrafted artworks and artifacts in the open-air market and meet artisans who traveled from Mexico to showcase their talents in our city.
The Plaza de Niños will have fun cultural crafts, games, activities, and free face painting for families and kids.
Other activities include carnival rides, musicians, naturalization ceremony, boxing, tequila tasting experience, bingo game booth with prizes.
Tickets
Online tickets are $10 for adults and kids 13 and over, $8 for kids 6-12, and $10 for seniors over 62. Kids 5 and under enter free. Tickets at the gate are $15 for adults and $12 for kids.
These prices are for one-day festival entry anytime between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m.
Tickets include access to the main stage, food vendors, artisan village, boxing and Plaza de Niño’s family activities.
Tickets do not include carnival ride tickets or admission into Mariachi Mass. Carnival ride tickets can be bought from Funtastic Rides at the festival. Food and beverages are available for purchase.
