Celebrate community and creativity at the Fall In Love With Lents Community Festival.
The Lents neighborhood in Southeast Portland has changed a lot over the past few years. Community members who live, work and play in Lents have created a special event for everyone to connect, create and explore.
Here’s what you can expect at Fall In Love With Lents:
Fall In Love With Lents Community Festival
Fall In Love With Lents is September 29-30, 2023.
Show some love to the Lents community of artists, musicians and businesses during the multi-day festival. Special events are scheduled on Friday and Saturday. Activities are family friendly, community oriented and free to attend.
Events are held at the Lents Masonic Lodge, 5811 SE 92nd Ave.
Really Free Lents Night Market
Friday, September 29, 4-7 p.m.
The market invites the community to bring what you can and take what you want or need. Pack up something you no longer want that a neighbor may treasure. You can bring items, skills, knowledge, information, food or games to share.
Along with the free market, there are several other free activities. Enjoy free kids art activity, free books for kids, free Trimet passes, live music and performances, and free knowledge sharing from various organizations.
Here is the performance lineup for the event:
- 4-5 p.m. The Modern Folk Band
- 5-6 p.m. The Sil Davis Salsa Experience
- 6-7 p.m. The End of the World Band
Queer Comedy After-Hours
Friday, September 29, 7-8 p.m.
After the Really Free Lents Night Market, stick around for performances by these local comedians:

East Portland Art Fest
Saturday, September 30, 12-4 p.m.
More than 40 artists, makers and community vendors are coming together to showcase their talents. The art fest will have live music and performances, a photo booth, and kids activities.

- 12-1 p.m. Olive & Dingo!
- 1-1:30 p.m. Portland Lee’s Association Lion Dance Team
- 1:30-2 p.m. F.I.Y.A.
- 2-2:15 p.m. Klawz Mawnsta
- 2:15-2:30 p.m. Collaborative Poetry with Angie Ebba!
- 2:30-3:30 p.m. Sunset the Machine
- 3:30-4 p.m. Zumbida
