Since 1986, Nordic Northwest has brought Scandinavia to Portland through traditional food, entertainment, goods and activities. Visit the Portland headquarters for a special film screening.
Finding Hygge Film Screening at Nordic Northwest
On December 28 from 7 to 8:30 p.m., head to Nordic Northwest’s great hall for a screening of Finding Hygge.
The event includes the movie screening, traditional Nordic snacks, and a chance to see the organization’s Christmas exhibit after hours. Hygge Chocolate will have samples of their Scandinavian-inspired chocolates at the event.
Finding Hygge, pronounced hoo-ga, is a documentary exploring Denmark’s secret to happiness. For those seeking happiness, this exploratory documentary travels around the globe to discover the true meaning of hygge and how to find it.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for kids 12 and under, and $5 for Arts for All participants.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Parking is available in the 50-space lot and limited street parking is available.
