First Thursdays on Fremont Street

Head to Northeast Portland for First Thursdays on Fremont Street. Some businesses and restaurants are hosting special hours with entertainment, food and drinks, special discounts and more. Activities typically start at 4 p.m. and last until 8 or 9 p.m.

Shops and restaurants are hosting special events and discounts throughout the day. Here are the happenings for the June 5 event:

Amalfi’s

Pop up vendors are on the patio from 4-8 p.m. Enjoy happy hour from 4-6 p.m. and El Camino Organ Trio live music from 6-9 p.m.

The Arrangement

Get your lobster fix at Cousins Maine Lobster pop up from 4-8 p.m.

Artistic Portland Gallery

Meet the artists from 4-8 p.m.

Blackbird Wine Shop

Sip on $10 flights while meeting artists from 4-7 p.m.

Fire on the Mountain

Enjoy live string band Old Barn Preservation Society from 5-7 p.m.

Homewatch Caregivers

Give the wine wheel a spin. There’s also free prizes for kids and veterans. They are set up at Amalfi’s from 4-8 p.m.

The Paladins League

Participate in Mario Kart timed trails and sip on takeout milkshakes from 4-9 p.m.

Puddletown Games and Puzzles

Join the learn to play series from 4-9 p.m.

Sylvan Learning

Paint Pokemon cards.

Tomorrow’s Verse

Snack on oysters at Flying Fish oyster bar pop up from 4-8 p.m.
