Portland Parks & Recreation is helping you achieve your fitness goals this summer in our beautiful community parks. Fitness in the Park invites people of every fitness level to join in the outdoor fun.
Seven local parks are participating with fitness classes taking place Monday-Saturday. Workouts range from Zumba to yoga to strength training. Classes are limited to 20 participants on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Fitness in the Park is taking place June 21 through September 18. All of the parks have multiple fitness classes a day taking place in the morning. Find the closest participating Here are the participating parks:
Fitness in the Park Locations
N Lombard St. and Woolsey Ave.
Classes located in the middle of the park in front of the pool house.
SW 45th Ave. and Vermont St.
From Monday-Friday, classes meet at Hitchen Field. On Saturday, meet at the field off the path behind the tennis courts.
NE 7th Ave. and Fremont St.
Meet at the basketball court at NE Fremont and 7th.
810 NW 11th Ave.
Meet at granite area on the 10th street side of the park.
SE 135th Ave. and Mill St.
You'll be able to easily spot the fitness group when you arrive.
Mt. Scott Park
SE 72nd Ave. and Harold St.
Classes meet at Meets at 72nd and Knight.
460 SE 113th Ave.
Meet in the grassy field near the play structure.

Drop-in classes are $5 per class. You can also purchase a Fitness Pass for $45 a month. This gets you unlimited classes at all seven participating park locations. To purchase a drop-in class or pass, make sure you register online before you go.
Bring a water bottle, hand weights and resistance bands if needed for your class.
