2023 Flicks on the Bricks

Flicks on the Bricks is not taking place in 2024. It may return in 2025. 

In July, Portland’s living room transforms into a free movie theater for all to enjoy. The annual Flicks on the Bricks at Pioneer Courthouse Square is back with a three-day movie event.

For three days, the square will be transformed into Portland’s largest outdoor movie theater. Here are the details about this year’s event.

2023 Flicks on the Bricks

From Friday, July 21 through Sunday, July 23, movies will be shown on a large LED screen at Pioneer Courthouse Square.

The LED screen will expand movie offerings into daytime hours for 10 free summer movie screenings over the three-day event.

There’s a limited number of comfortable theater-style seating. If you don’t get there in time to claim on of these seats, be sure to bring low-back chairs, blankets pillows, cushions or bean bags.

Each movie screening is free to attend. All seating is available on a first come, first serve basis.

6 p.m. Women’s World Cup Watch Party

Saturday, July 22

12 p.m. The Sandlot

2:30 p.m. Bring It On

5:00 p.m. Creed

9:30 p.m. Friday Night Lights

Sunday, July 23

12 p.m. Space Jam: A New Legacy

2:30 p.m. Happy Gilmore

5:00 p.m. Free Solo
