Yes, the festival is FREE. Unfortunately, the beer is not. However, anyone showing proof that they arrived by Tri-Met gets $1 off the $6 price of a reusable, compostable cornstarch glass. Once you have a glass in hand, four-ounce tastes of organic beer cost just one $1 token; a full glass of beer requires four tokens.

The 10th annual North American Organic Brewers Festival takes place at Overlook Park, 1599 N. Fremont St. (the intersection of Fremont and Interstate). Hours are noon to 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, through Saturday, June 28. Hours are noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 29.
