Get ready to turn up the volume, Portland. Summer Shred Music Festival invites you to hang and head bang this August. 

On Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 12 to 11 p.m., the Central Eastside transforms into a high-energy celebration of local rock, cold drinks, good food and community vibes.

And the best part? It’s free to attend. Enjoy 11 hours of music, fun and food without spending a dime on admission.

Activities

Local Rock Bands: Experience a killer lineup of homegrown talent.

Beer Garden: Sip on local brews while you soak up the riffs.

Food Court: Fuel your moshing with bites from some of Portland’s best food vendors.

Local Vendors: Browse unique art, crafts and goods while you take a breather between sets.

• 6:45 p.m. Kvasir (psych rock / stoner metal)
