For more than 100 years, the Portland Rose Festival has been a beloved celebration of our beautiful city. The festival has tons of free and cheap activities your whole family can enjoy.
For three weeks, CityFair takes over the Portland waterfront with all your favorite fair features. Here’s how you can get free admission to this attraction.
Here’s how you can get free Portland Rose Festival CityFair admission.
Free Admission to Portland Rose Festival’s CityFair
At CityFair, you get access to a full festival of activities. Enjoy carnival rides, fair foods, interactive exhibits, and live entertainment on multiple stages.
The price of CityFair admission is $15 per person. Kids age 6 and under get in for free with an adult. CityFair weekends are May 24-27, May 31-June 2 and June 7-9. Here are the festival hours:
- Friday, May 24 from 5pm – 10pm
- Saturday, May 25 from 12pm – 10pm
- Sunday, May 26 from 12pm – 9pm
- Monday, May 27 from 12pm – 9pm
- Friday, May 31 from 4pm – 10pm
- Saturday, June 1 from 12pm – 10pm
- Sunday, June 2 from 12pm – 9pm
- Friday, June 7 from 4pm – 10pm
- Saturday, June 8 from 12pm – 10pm
- Sunday, June 9 from 12pm – 9pm
Here’s how you can get free Portland Rose Festival CityFair admission:
Free Fridays
On Fridays, May 31 and June 7, you can get free admission to CityFair. Bring the coupon found in Portland Tribune and other Pamplin Media Group community newspapers to any CityFair gate.
Veterans and Military
Veterans and service members get in for free with proper identification. Show a valid ID at any CityFair gate.
Capital One Café Day
On Saturday, June 8, Capital One cardholders and one guest get free admission. Show your Capital One card at any CityFair gate.
Arts4All
While not free, Oregon Trail cardholders get $5 discount tickets. Show your Oregon Trail card at the gate to receive this discount.
CityFair takes place at Tom McCall Waterfront Park in downtown Portland. Don’t miss out on all the Rose Festival free and cheap events.
