For more than 100 years, the Portland Rose Festival has been a beloved celebration of our beautiful city. The festival has tons of free and cheap activities your whole family can enjoy.

For three weeks, CityFair takes over the Portland waterfront with all your favorite fair features. Here’s how you can get free admission to this attraction.

Free and Cheap Admission to Portland Rose Festival’s CityFair

At CityFair, you get access to a full festival of activities. Enjoy carnival rides, fair foods, interactive exhibits, and live entertainment on multiple stages.

The price of CityFair admission is $12 per person until May 22. Prices increase to $15 on May 23. Kids age 6 and under get in for free with an adult.

CityFair weekends are May 23-26, May 30-June 1 and June 6-8. Here are the festival hours: 

• Friday, May 23 – 5pm – 10pm
• Saturday, May 24 – 12pm – 10pm
• Sunday, May 25 – 12pm – 9pm
• Monday, May 26 – 12pm – 9pm
• May 27 – 29 – CLOSED
• Friday, May 30 – 4pm – 10pm
• Saturday, May 31 – 12pm – 10pm
• Sunday, June 1 – 12pm – 9pm
• June 2-5 – CLOSED
• Friday, June 6 – 4pm – 10pm
• Saturday, June 7 – 12pm – 10pm
• Sunday, June 8 – 12pm – 9pm
