Since 2011, Salt & Straw has been churning small batch, handmade ice cream featuring local ingredients. The ice cream shop currently has six locations in the Portland area.

The shops have interesting signature flavors, like olive oil and honey lavender. There’s also many classics along with new limited edition flavors every month that keep customers coming back for more.

Currently, the ice cream shops are featuring the Chocolatiers Series: Chocolate Almond Gold Bar, Cake Batter Chocolate Fudge, Milk Chocolate Fudge with Candied Macadamia Nut, Cocoa Nibs and Frangipane and Hazelnut Chocolate Cookies and Cream.

Salt & Straw is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a special deal on ice cream scoops. On Friday, February 14, 2025, buy any single scoop and get a free second scoop at any scoop shop.

To get this deal, you need to sign up with your email. Here’s the submission form. To redeem the offer in shop, show your confirmation email at the register.

All six Salt & Straw locations in and around Portland are participating. Locations are open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
