Join a day of entertainment and celebration at Good in the Hood Multicultural Music and Food Festival.
The annual festival in North Portland sets the stage for locally renowned musicians, artists, small businesses and organizations.
Here are the details about the 2026 event.
2026 Good in the Hood
Good in the Hood Multicultural Music and Food Festival is June 27-28, 2026. Hours are noon-9 p.m. at Lillis Albina Park. Here’s what you can expect at this year’s event.
Parade
Before heading to the park, check out the community from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday along MLK Blvd.
The parade travels South on MLK from Prescott Street to Knott Street.
Music and Performances
The event features performances throughout both days, including hiphop, soul, jazz, and R&B artists.
Saturday’s featured headliner is the Pacific Northwest’s hiphop pioneer Poh-Hop with Cool Nutz.
On Sunday, acclaimed Portland vocalist Aléa Lorén will take the stage at 5 p.m.
Activities
The event has a variety of food and community vendors. Grab a bite to eat and peruse creations from local artists and meet with a variety of community organizations offering resources and services.
New this year is the Teen Zone, featuring a dedicated teen stage, dance contest and a youth three-on-three basketball tournament.
Good in the Hood is free and open to all at Lillis-Albina Park is located at N Flint Ave. and Russell St. in Portland.
