The 29th annual Good in the Hood Multicultural Music and Food Festival is strengthening unity in the community.
The annual three-day festival in Northeast Portland sets the stage for locally and nationally renowned musicians, local artists, small businesses and organizations. Here are the details about the 2022 event.
2022 Good in the Hood
Good in the Hood Multicultural Music and Food Festival is June 24-26, 2022. Hours are 6-10 p.m. on Friday and noon-10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Here’s what you can expect at this year’s event.
On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., attend the festival’s parade traveling through Northeast Portland. It starts at Emanuel Legacy Medical Center to King School Park where the festival is held.

The headlining performer at this year’s festival is American R&B and soul singer Glenn Jones. Here’s the full lineup of performances by day.

The event has a variety of food and community vendors. Grab a bite to eat and peruse creations from local artists and meet with a variety of community organizations offering resources and services. Legacy Health is hosting free health screenings.
The festival has a kid space filled with family-friendly activities hosted by the Portland Trail Blazers, Dragon Theater, Nikki Brown Clown and Albina Headstart. Along with fun activities, kids can get an $8 bike helmet on Saturday and enter drawings for free bikes and scooters on Saturday and Sunday.
