Christmas Day is widely known for closed shops and quiet streets, but some grocery stores remain open to serve last-minute needs and essential errands. Here are the Portland area grocery stores open on Christmas. 

I’ve provided a list of your favorite grocery stores throughout Portland, including ones that are open on Christmas Eve but closed on Christmas Day, so you know where to go for any last-minute holiday grocery hauls.

• Wednesday, December 24, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (hours vary slightly by location).
• Closed on Christmas Day. 

Albertsons has multiple locations throughout the Portland area. Location open hours vary from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. 

Costco

• Wednesday, December 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Closed on Christmas Day. 

Costco has multiple locations throughout the Portland area. 

Fred Meyer

• Wednesday, December 24, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
• Closed on Christmas Day. 

Fred Meyer has multiple locations throughout the Portland area. 

Fubonn Supermarket

• Wednesday, December 24, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. 
• Thursday, December 25, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Fubonn is at 2850 SE 82nd Ave. in Portland.

H Mart

This grocery store is typically open on Christmas, but I am awaiting confirmation. 

H Mart has three local locations: 3301 SE Belmont St. in Portland, 13600 SW Pacific Hwy in Tigard and 3975 SW 114th Ave. in Beaverton.
