Halloween at Powell’s Books: Attend an After Hours Literary Event
This Halloween, step into the story and let Powell’s Books cast its spell on you. On Saturday, October 25, from 6-9 p.m., Portland’s beloved bookstore transforms into a realm for the mysterious, magical and morbid. Your key to the literary underworld awaits.
Wander the legendary stacks and encounter performances, bewitching bites, crafty cocktails and characters who feel as though they’ve stepped right out of your favorite novels. See your literary dreams come to life during the special after dark event.
Tickets
I’m letting you know about this event early because it will likely sell out. Get your tickets before they vanish.
General admission is $30, plus processing fees, and includes:
- Exclusive after-hours access to Powell’s City of Books.
- Entertainment and themed activities throughout the store.
- Costume contests with prizes.
- Access to curated selection of local food, beverage, and lifestyle vendors. Items are available for purchase.
- Surprises hidden among the shelves.
You can also add on an optional mystery book bundle for $10. It features a hand-selected book to take home. There is also a VIP experience available.
