As Lunar New Year approaches, Bridgeport Village gears up to host a special celebration for families and individuals alike.

Head to the shopping center for a day filled with engaging activities that capture the spirit of the holiday. Bridgeport Village is joining several Lunar New Year celebrations in and around Portland.

Here are the activities planned at the 2026 event.

On Saturday, February 21, 2026, Bridgeport Village hosts several free activities open to all ages.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., immerse yourself in the rich culture of Lunar New Year with the following activities at the Village Green:

Calligraphy Demonstration: Learn the techniques of this beautiful artwork.

Miniature Dragon Puppet Interactive Play: Step into a world of enchantment, allowing your imagination to run wild as you interact with these whimsical creatures.

Lucky Bead Bar: Create a special wearable keepsake at the event.

Paper Lantern Art: Enjoy a family-friendly craft station where you can create your very own paper lantern.

Wish Tree: Make a wish for the Year of the Horse.

Scavenger Hunt: Partake is a special adventure around Bridgeport Village in search of 12 lunar-themed decals hiding by various stores and restaurants.
