Lunar New Year Celebration at Washington Square is ringing in the Year of the Dragon with a special event focusing on good fortune and power.

Here are some more Lunar New Year celebrations you won’t want to miss:

The Lunar New Year Celebration at Washington Square is Saturday, February 17, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the mall’s summit court.

In celebration of the Lunar New Year, visitors can snap a selfie and make a wish on red ribbon, at the Wishing Tree.

There will be traditional crafts, stories, dances, and more activities for the whole family.

Here’s the schedule:

11:00 AM: Portland Puppet Museum presents “Legends of Ancient China and Jade Empress of China”
12:00 PM: Korean Kayageum musical performance by Doyeon Lim
12:30 PM Hope Chinese Charter School
1:00 PM: Storytelling by Alton Chung
1:30 PM: Art World School
2:00 PM: Oregon Chinese Coalition
2:30 PM: Portland Chinese School & the Yo-Yo Team
3:00 PM: Summit Wushu Academy
3:30 PM: White Lotus Lion Dance

This event is free to attend.
