Lunar New Year Celebration at Washington Square is ringing in the Year of the Snake with a special event focusing on good fortune and happiness.

Lunar New Year Celebration at Washington Square
The Lunar New Year Celebration at Washington Square is Saturday, February 8, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the mall’s summit court.
In celebration of the Lunar New Year, visitors can snap a selfie and make a wish on red ribbon, at the Wishing Tree.
There are also fun activities hosted by the FLIP mobile children’s museum. Also, families and kids can create their own paper crafts while learning about their cultural history with artist Romana Sena.

- 12:30 PM Hope Chinese Charter School

- 1:15 PM Oregon Hope Chinese School
- 1:30 PM Art World School
- 2:00 PM Oregon Chinese Coalition
- 2:30 PM Portland Chinese School & the Yo-Yo Team
- 3:00 PM Summit Wushu Academy
- 3:30 PM White Lotus Lion Dance
This event is free to attend.
