Head to Mt. Angel for the annual Volksfest featuring authentic German and drink along with live music and family-friendly entertainment.
The 2023 Mt. Angel Volksfest is February 3-5, 2023. Activities include:
- Live music every day of the festival.
- Local craft brews and wines.
- Food and goods vendors.
- Face painting and balloon artistry for kids.
- Volkswalks for all ages.
Volkwalk is like a cake walk with different prizes, including baked goodies, merchandise and drink tokens.
The lineup of local brews and wines include Bauman Cider Loganberry, Benedictine Brewery Black Habit, Silver Falls Brewery Drift Creek Kolsch, Ratchet Brewery Bullpen Lager, Block 15 IPA, Weihenstephan Hefeweisbier Dunkel, Weihenstephan Pilsner, Hanson Vineyards red and white, Paradis Vineyards red and white, and 503 Distilling spirits.
Food options include a wide variety of German favorites, such as sausages, fondue, pretzels, schnitzels and more. There’s also sides, snacks and sweets available at the seven food vendors.
On Saturday at 11 a.m., the event will have a car show hosted by NW Dubs.
Tickets are $10. Seniors pay only $5. All attendees under 21 attend for free.
The festival is taking place Friday, February 3 through Sunday, February 5. Hours are 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
