This Memorial Day weekend, head to Oaks Park for some good, old-fashioned fun at the Multnomah County Fair.
The annual fair has been entertaining Portlanders since 1906. Traditionally an event for locals to exhibit farming and homesteading techniques, fairs have expanded to showcase food, entertainment, crafters, artists and more.
This year’s event features competitive exhibits, music and stage performances, Lucha Libre wrestling, farm animal meet and greet, and a dog parade and costume contest. You’ll also see a wide range of entertainment and exhibits.
Here are the details about the 2025 fair.
Multnomah County Fair at Oaks Park
The 2026 Multnomah County Fair is Saturday, May 23 through Monday, May 25, from noon to 7 p.m.
In true fair tradition, the Multnomah County Fair hosts competitive exhibits for arts and crafts, floral, photography, needle crafts, foods and more.
On the festival stage, you’ll enjoy live performances and musicians. Food and beverages are available for purchase from a variety of vendors.
Throughout the event, there is an emphasis on Hispanic and Latino culture, including traditional dancing, singing, games, wrestling and entertainment.
The fair is free to attend and parking is $4.
You’ll also have access to all that Oaks Park has to offer. You can buy a ride bracelet to enjoy Oaks Park’s main attractions. If you’d like to save and still have a great time, you can ride the carousel and train for free. Oaks Park also has a roller skating rink. Admission is only $13.
