Oregon Zoo Veterans Day Deal
On Monday, November 11, military veterans and active military personnel, as well as family members, will receive up to four free tickets. Families of deployed military personnel also will be given free admission.
That’s right. All military members and families qualify for this deal.
To receive free admission, visitors must reserve tickets in advance online. Choose the Veterans Day ticket option on the Oregon Zoo’s ticketing page. Also, proof of military or veteran organization ID, discharge papers or other official military identification must be showed along with your ticket reservation at the ticket booths. For families of deployed military personnel, bring an active duty ID.
The free offer does not include parking. Take Trimet or pay $2 per hour for parking, or $8 for the day. The zoo will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Can’t make it on Veterans Day? Veterans and active service members receive a discount to the Oregon Zoo every day. Get $2 off the price of regular admission when you show valid military ID any day of the week.
The zoo is open 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., located at 4001 SW Canyon Road in Portland. For more information and to reserve tickets, visit the Oregon Zoo’s website.
